Green Millet is among the most nutritious and easily digested of all grains; it is rich in starch, making it a great high-energy food. It is very high in amino acids and is used as a food for human. It is also utilized to make soup, biscuits, bread, flour, cakes, porridge etc. Millet is usually utilized in several remote portions of India as a main food. Further, our green millets are also consumed in the form of porridge or pungent with vegetable and meat stew. We grow this crop in large hot & dry places, were additional crops are hard to grow.
